Having
the technology to manufacture is one thing, but without qualified, experienced
engineering support, projects tend to fall through the cracks with delivery
goals not met.
Whether
you have a new product to launch or existing tools to relocate, you will
be assigned an Engineering Project Manager to interface with you every
step of the way. They are responsible for the successful launching of
your project from award to full production. Upon notification of a new
project or transfer tool, within 48 hours, they will bring together our
"APQP" (Advanced Product Quality Planning) team. This is a cross-functional
team, comprised of engineering, manufacturing, quality and sales. Its
charter is to become completely familiar with your project, answer all
questions up front and prior to tool design and build, and create a seamless
transition throughout all stages of your project. Following this process
ensures delivery goals are met and your product is introduced to yourmarket...on
time.
Design
Services
FPI Topcraft provides
design engineering assistance services from your conceptual stage through
manufacturing. Many customers bring our Engineers in at an early stage
to offer a "molders eye" to your product design. In many
cases FPI Topcraft can offer design suggestions, allowing for optimal processing
and the opportunity for cost reduction.
Transfer
Services
Much of FPI Topcrafts
growth and experience through the years has come from rapidly transferring
existing tools through our system and seamlessly maintaining our customers
product requirements. Whether you are currently experiencing quality,
service or cost issues with a current supplier, or are considering divesting
yourself of an in-house molding operation, we have the knowledge, experience
and internal written procedures to assure a quick transition. Upon notification
of your decision to relocate your tool, FPI Topcraft forms a rapid response
team consisting of Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales
and most importantly, you. Together, we will design a plan and gain an
understanding of all requirements. This process goes into effect whether
you are moving one tool or 100 tools. We have experienced both ends of
the spectrum, and have dealt with them successfully.
